  The Innocent Bystander is a great dining place for all adults and kids.
  The food is absolutely amazing but the menu is limited. The Innocent Bystander has a great variety of wines, beers and spirits.

  The six of us had a wonderful gastronomic experience at the Innocent Bystander on Maroondah Highway in Healesville. The restaurant moved from the Giant Steps site over a year into the old White Rabbit Brewery building (next to the Beechworth Bakery). The food was wonderfully delicious (on the pricier side). We started with a metre long shared board followed by Mushroom, Margarita, Spicy Pork and Paella del Mar. All of us enjoyed the night and went home very contented :-)

  We ended a family holiday with some friends by having lunch at Innocent bystander. Amazing pizzas and paellas. The kids menu was awesome. And obviously great wines.
  The staff were fantastic, they were all lovely and really hospitable for the kids bringing crayons and paper cups for water and quickly cleaning up a few spills we had without any fuss.
  Highly, highly recommend for anyone but really great for families. We will be back for sure.

  We visited on Sunday the 2nd of July and were deeply disappointed by the experience. The place has a great vibe and lots of potentials to be great. Our biggest turn down was the pizzas vs value, never been to a place where we really made feel ripped off.
  
  This place is more like a pup that is trying so hard to be a fine dining restaurant.
